1 to 5 Day Course - BREWING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COURSE FOR PRODUCTION PERSONNEL
This course is designed for brewery staff currently working in the daily production processes of micro breweries who want to keep their knowledge and skills updated.

You can choose to attend any combination of the five days

It will allow attendees to improve their understanding of :

  • the key factors upon which quality ale depends
  • the brewing process from raw material to the finished product
  • the solutions to different production problems that can be addressed on site
The topics covered are:-
Day 1   Brewing liquor, sparging, malt and mashing further details

Day 2   Hops, boiling, cooling, yeast and fermentation further details

Day 3  

Beer maturation, racking, casking and fining, quality control and due diligence further details

Day 4  

Cleaning and sterilisation, infection and microbiological assessment further details

Day 5  

Beer flavour profiling, taste defects relating to common production problems and tasting panels further details
