The April SUB course yet again attracted students from many different backgrounds and walks of life. We expect to welcome back a number of the students on future courses wishing to further increase their brewing knowledge.

Brewlab is extending its course provision in 2008 with the restoration of the Brewers’ Guild Fundamentals of Brewing course at Durham University. A favourite of the brewing industry for decades the Fundamentals course provided a week long introductory level course for all brewery employees.

2008 has got off to a great start with students attending our first Practical Brewing course for 2008.

Participants at the recent Brewlab University Certificate in Practical Brewing were grateful for the efforts of the previous Craft Brew Workshop in June this year.

Students on Brewlab’s Practical Brewing and British Brewing Technology courses are now eligible to enrol at the University of Sunderland to receive certificates and diplomas on successful completion of their courses.
