HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point

1 Day Workshop

For commercial brewing consumer safety is a critical concern. This intensive one day workshop gives you a comprehensive introduction to HACCP principles and techniques to enhance consumer safety.

The course requires a background knowledge of brewing in order for you to put the techniques into perspective.

We’ll give you a sound overview of the HACCP requirements for beer production and packaging as well as taking you through how this relates to due diligence and compliance to food safety legislation in your brewery.

As part of this we’ll give you the opportunity to construct a brewery HACCP plan with respect to microbiological, physical and chemical food hazards throughout the process, as required by the local Environmental Health Departments.

The course fee is £235. A £100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance has to be paid six weeks prior to the course start date. Price includes VAT.

At the end of the HACCP workshop you will have:

  • Seen an overview of current legislation with regard to food safety
  • Had opportunity to see real case studies
  • Had opportunity to identify food safety hazards in a brewery
